Though the ShinRa Empire started with ShinRa Electric Power, as the company expanded, so did the needs of the people and the greed of the corporate executives. As ShinRa moved through the world, small businesses and larger businesses alike were rendered obsolete as ShinRa overtook the markets & destroyed any competition. Local economies were swept up into a larger, global scheme. Soon, ShinRa Electric Power became ShinRa Incorporated, with many subsidary branches to uphold the pillars of society.
